To make the most of your visit and to help others make the most of theirs, please take note of the following important information:
Cameras & Recording Equipment
These are not permitted in the theatres during performances.
Dress Requirements
There are no dress requirements. As a guide to suitable attire, most patrons choose to wear smart casual clothing.
Mobile Phones
As a consideration to other patrons, please ensure that pagers & mobile phones are turned off while in the theatres.
IMB Foyer Bar
The IMB Foyer Bar is open for patrons to purchase refreshments when seeing a show in the IMB Theatre. Unless otherwise stated food and drinks (other than bottled water) may not be taken into the theatre.
The bar is open up to 45 minutes prior to each performance in the IMB Theatre, at intervals and up to an hour post-show for Merrigong Season performances.
A range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and sweet and savoury snacks are available. Those wishing for something more substantial can find excellent dining options in the local restaurant guide. These are obtainable from the box office and Tourism Wollongong.
TICKETS, REFUNDS AND RIGHT OF REFUSAL

Latecomers
Patrons arriving at the theatre after the show has commenced may only be admitted at the discretion of management, and will not be admitted to the auditorium until there is a suitable break in the program.
Companion Card
IPAC is an affiliate of the Companion Card program. A Companion Card must be presented when booking. Please contact the box office for details.
Disabled Access
Patrons requiring wheelchair access or with other mobility concerns must advise the box office at the time of booking their seats.
Hearing Impaired
Both IPAC theatres are equipped with sound enhancement facilities. The IMB Theatre has an FM system for hearing augmentation. The Gordon Theatre has an induction hearing loop compatible with T-switch hearing aids. Receivers for both theatres can be obtained free of charge from the box office prior to performances. Captioned performances
All Saturday matinee performances in the Merrigong Theatre Season will be captioned for the benefit of deaf or hearing impaired patrons. The captions are displayed on plasma screens at the side of the stage, please check the seat map when booking online or mention your interest in captioning when booking at the box office to ensure you are in the best position to make use of this service.
